International Artist Reisdency

The residency is a self-funded international artist program dedicated to research, experimentation, and the development of contemporary artistic practice. It welcomes both emerging and established artists from around the world, offering time, space, and supportive conditions to deepen creative inquiry and advance ongoing projects.
The program provides an environment where artists can work free from everyday distractions, encouraging reflection, exploration, and risk-taking. Residents are invited to develop new ideas, refine existing work, and engage in open-ended artistic research across disciplines. The residency supports movers, choreographers, performance artists, visual artists, and interdisciplinary practitioners, fostering a flexible space where diverse practices can coexist and inspire one another.
Community exchange is an important aspect of the program. While not required, artists may choose to share their processes through informal talks, workshops, open studios, or collaborative activities with local artists and cultural practitioners. These interactions help build dialogue between international and local creative communities.
Although the residency does not fund production costs, artists are encouraged to secure external support through grants and cultural funding in their home countries. The organization provides assistance such as recommendation letters, institutional connections where possible, and guidance on funding applications.
Overall, the residency aims to cultivate an experimental, collaborative environment that nurtures artistic growth, professional development, and meaningful international exchange.
